| Junior Java C++ Software Developer |
Due to paramount growth, our Sydney practice is expanding and we have a unique opportunity for a Java C++ Software Developer to be part of our growing success locally and internationally. Must have 1 - 2 years commercial Java and C++ programming experience.
Your role will primarily be to support and enhance ISI software applications. ISI has a number of internal and external projects to be involved in whilst being a pivotal support sponsor for the various ISI products sold in the market. The ISI development environment has a world class framework in innovation whilst our tools and processes deliver the most efficient solutions to new and existing customers.
Background:
There are 2 projects that we are looking for a Java, C++ Developer:
Project 1: VPOS - Batch Authorization project
Activities:
Support current VPOS applications. Application is written in C++, SQL (DB2), and Web Interfaced (Administration)
Re-develop and enhance the application in Java
Environment - UNIX / LINUX
Opportunity for the successful candidate:
Working with real-time messaging systems
New development in Java, SQL, using Object Oriented model
Interaction and experience supporting processes of corporate Technologies
Project 2: ISI File Services
Activities:
New development of File Services platform using Java, SQL (DB2), Webpage UI
Development involving all three levels - User Interface, Application, and Data
New development of Client software to be distributed to client's environment - UNIX / LINUX
Opportunity for the successful candidate:
Working with data security, encryption technology
Data transfer protocols such as SSH, AS2, HTTPS, etc.
New development in Java, SQL, using Object Oriented model
Telecommunication Technology such as automated SMS messaging
Minimum Requirement:
Java & C++ development knowledge
SQL knowledge
Web & UI knowledge
Willing to learn new technologies
Assertive enough to take proactive approaches
Successful candidates will have a keen interest in working with new technologies, learn quickly and able to work independently. We're looking for university graduate developers with at least 2 years project experience and knowledge and experience in the above areas. ISI is an advocate for work/life balance with periodic networks and events and additional training and certification given when required.
